Booking your stay

We are located off, cross roads county Rd. T and Falcon which will bring you to access 16379 Hawk Ave, the only property on the west side. 

Depending the direction you are traveling from on US Hwy 285 or 17 , you will be near the property when are in between roads 55 & 53. 

Too hot? Try our cooling units, located in the Main Cabin and the Tiny Cabin. You will need to just add water in the back; you will notice a movable piece that opens to dump the water in until the visible MAX line is in the front. Select your desired Cooling setting on the top.  Don’t have a jug? We usually keep a spare in the cleaning closet. Please try not to run for extended periods of time and keep track of your water levels. 

Also, a box fan in the kitchen window makes a big difference! At night the temperatures drop and bringing in the cold air is also a great method for cooling down. 

It’s easier to just lift the rack and lite the propane with a lighter. We keep a spare in the kitchen drawer. Please be sure to turn off Propane when finished, grilling utensils are located in the kitchen drawer

 Each loft is roughly 9ft W X 11ft L X 3ft H so a reminder of smaller space and a climb up! Japanese floor mattress are provided with additional underneath mats in each loft. Bring your sleeping bags and get cozy.  Keep in mind one loft has pull downstairs.

 You can comfortably sleep a couple of people in both lofts, and someone can sleep on the futon. What is considered, the 3rd bedroom is located in the separate Tiny Cabin, which can sleep a couple of people as well.  

Yes ! we have trails that go around the 40-acre property line, great for hiking, or ATV use. If you are using an ATV, please stay on designated trails or roads, and do not operate in the night hours. 

Yes ! There is a Dollar General right down the road in Moffat, it comes in hand for last minute items, or make your way to Saguache where you can get gas and groceries as well!

No, we don't provide any linens of any kind. We have a Japanese floor mattress & pads for each sleeping area, and do keep a spare air mattress and cots, you are welcome to use. 

Yes, we will provide a bundle for each night of your stay!  

There is a remote to help provide some lighting to the patio area that can be found by the welcome book, but the remaining lights are motion sensors, with the ability to turn on and off by a switch located on the bottom of the light
